Instrument cluster surround removal

Any idea how to remove the instrument cluster surround?

Looking to replace it with the dry carbon surround

Aerie makes a full replacement, but like OP, I didnt see any removal of the stock piece and was afraid to try it and break something

This piece has clips around most of the piece that will pop loose if pulled or pried. It's in there well though so it takes some force. There are also two screws holding it that are hidden under the piece just above the steering wheel. Those two screws are not shown in the repair manual. The piece above the steering wheel also pops out and uses clips.
