As a preference, I use google maps or Waze, its more current and has traffic alerts and the like, so for me, more informative

The issue I have, is when using it, the Information displayed on the Driver screen, does not allow the turn by turn info to be displayed as it does with the Integrated SatNav. All I get it is the option to Cancel
Am I missing something, is there a setup option that allows Google/Waze to show on the driver screen, or is the only option to use the integrated system?

Thanks

Not in the central panel, but it is possible to get some navigation directions fed through from Android Auto as a small icon on the right hand side of the drivers display. (Carplay may be the same, but don't have experience to say either way)

I can't remember exactly how you get to it (and can't easily go check as the car's under a cover and the wind currently isn't amenable to doing a quick look) but from memory there is a setting to enable it if you press the menu button on the steering wheel (ie the one between volume up & down) when the central panel is on the navigation section when the integrated system is in use. The setting then carries over to when Android Auto is active (though can't be changed when it is).

If you’re talking about CarPlay (don’t know about Android Auto), only Apple Maps turn-by-turn directions appear on the RHS of the dash.
Waze/Google don’t (or didn’t last time I tried).
Guessing it’s a CarPlay integration thing, as Apple don’t own Waze/Google Maps (and don’t want to make them look good!)

I have never got the right had side of the dash to show anything. All I ever have is the "+" .

I think you might need sports mode selected, though not 100% sure as it's still all a bit new to me:)

Tried all of the offered suggestions last night, none of them worked :(

Email sent to Lotus on Monday, so hopefully something from them soon. I have a horrible feeling its not an option, which seems daft, as so many other manufacturers allow this option.
In my email to them I asked for it to be considered in a future release, if its isnt currently

Reply from Lotus is, its not an option, but the idea has been passed to the Dev team for consideration
I wont hold my breath
Oh well

Weird. It works for me. As soon as i put in directions (Android Auto, waze) it shows the little directions on the right hand side. Didn't matter if I was in tour or sport.

Will give it another go and see if the Turn by turn works, but I was hoping more for the map view that the central display shows when using the integrated SatNav

Same... can't recall it ever not working for me with Android Auto. Maybe be some quirk with your particular phone brand/OS @Beachbum ? As a data point, I'm running a Pixel on Android 14.

The menu-fiddling described by @PsymonR seems relevant too (though I don't recall ever changing that intentionally).

I'm running a OnePlus9 on Android 13 I think

I think that we've all misunderstood the OP. I believe what they want is for the turn by direction function to show up on the main Nav screen. Pretty sure that won't happen, it seems to only be possible if you're using the standard Nav GPS. If you use AA or Car Play, you'll get direction on the right side of the dash, but you will lose all the functionality of the main nav screen.

Would be nice if they worked together, but not a deal breaker for me. Shouldn't really need it though since you still get the radio display for the map.
