I literally called the dealer Tuesday after posting here wondering when I would ever get mine built. Somehow this afternoon they called me and said they have 2 more allocations, but 2 people ahead of me. The second guy ended up cancelling and I got the slot and just finalized my build.

-V6 manual
-Vivid red
-Yellow calipers
-Black v-spoke wheels
-KEF stereo
-Aluminum pedals
-Black leather interior
-Goodyear tires

My two options that I went back and forth about were
1) Tires: I already have a Porsche GT4 with the Cup 2’s, and don’t track that often, so I’m thinking I’ll be happy with the Goodyears and can always replace them later on if needed.
2) Interior ceiling I just left as the “technical fabric”, but wonder if that’s a mistake and should have done alcanterra. Dealer said if I call within 24 hours I can change either one, but then it’s locked down.

Any advice?

Picture attached for one I liked, so i picked the same colour combos.

It's a solid spec and you'll love the car. I would change to the Alcantara headliner because I think the technical fabric will be a downgrade but wouldn't change anything else based upon the needs you shared.

What will be the MSRP for your build?

If you're not going for a colored leather, I would opt for black Leather/Alcantara with contrast stitching- maybe red? I would also include the Alcantara headliner. I remember it wasn't that expensive. It will be more similar to a GT4 interior :)

Love the Vivid Red colour, for obvious reasons (lol). Exterior colour is one of your tougher decisions made already, since that’s so “every-day-in-your-face-obvious”. The rest is preference based upon taste/budget/use, as is the colour too btw, so no right or wrong answer and you do what’s right for you. Whatever you do, you’ll create an Emira and have LOTS of fun with it. Once you’ve made your decision about engine and transmission type, they all drive much the same, with some tweaking involving tires and suspension, which may or may not make a big difference depending upon your driving habits/skill and the area where you drive. Just wait until you’re choosing after-market accessories, which again should be dictated by taste/budget/use.

You're in the right Forum, to educate yourself and decide what may be right for you, based upon postings of others about what they’ve done and why and if that aligns with your taste/budget/use. But keep in mind that everyone is different with how they perceive things, so again, “you do you”.

For example, some want sport suspension and Cup 2’s to better feel the road, whereas others wouldn’t notice much difference or wouldn’t be caught dead driving with sort suspension over the pothole infested streets in their driving area.

I immediately replaced my summer Goodyears with Continental all-seasons to increase my safe early Spring and late Fall drive times, and ordered Aerie V2 rims for the summers, to use as occasional track tires. I mention this since I see you’re also in Canada but this also depends on where you are and whether you plan to daily drive your Emira like I do, except in Winter months when at the very least you should have snow tires.

Decisions decisions but my point is, you should make them relying more upon your own driving experiences and preferences.
