Hi all, today I’ve been at my dealership checking my empire before registration….

it showed it has run 13 Kilometres despite it was still in transport mote!

it seems huge to me, talking to the ones who has one…domyou recall how many kilometres it had at delivery?

Maybe Lotus has now decided to test the cars thoroughly before delivering to customers. Which is a good thing.

13km is pretty much nothing for testing @ factory. Most likely almost all of those miles were done prior to it being put into transport mode -- this isn't abnormal.

How about 33 miles? 😂

I swear is everyone here new to buying a new car? Pretty much every single vehicle at your dealer has a few to 50 miles even if no prospective buyers have ever set foot into it. More common cars that get test driven might have a couple hundred miles on them.

Could have something to do with where the parking lots are located relative to the docks. Depending on where the ship docks, unloaded cars may have to be driven around to the pool.

Entirely normal to have a few 10s of miles from moving cars between build completion and customer handover. Have you seen how big the sites are at Hethel and Upper Heyford? All cars get driven over the vibration route and some also get driven on the test track.

Does a rumble track and driving onto & off of the delivery truck explain why one brand new car was delivered with 0.4 miles while another was delivered with 33 miles?

The first one was a factory collection, the second one wasn’t……

3 miles of test track and 30 of Jenson Button. But hey, JBs signature is worth $$$

Not Emira but my new cars have always had miles on the clock when picked up. A combination of testing and moving the car around ports/factory/delivery routes etc. anything around 5 miles would be normal imo
