Lotus Emira Future Versions Thread

I received the email from Lotus and a link to configure a model online. Out of interest I configured a V6 manual (base price £92,500) with I think all the extras my original FE spec came with
Total price came out at £106,455 then you have to add the initial road fund licence which from April I think is over £5k so on the road price around £112k!!!
I paid £80k two years ago!!.................
When they launched it the price was going to be from £59,995.00!!! :ROFLMAO:

Consider yourself lucky. Look around and see how much price have gone up on everything around you. Restaurant prices around here have gone up 20% on average in the last 4 years.

The other day after going grocery shopping, I was surprised at how much prices seemed to have gone up in the last few months. While going through a stack of things, I found a receipt from a few years ago, and it had almost all the same things we had just purchased, but the total was $145. This same list of items the other day was $249. The wife and I used to be able to go out to lunch only a few years ago, and it would be about $25 with tip. The same restaurants, ordering the same meals today, it's $45 with tip. We don't eat fancy either, it's not like we're buying steak and lobster all the time. Food prices have gotten just ridiculous.

Now I'm not saying I wouldn't want it for less money but the Evora in 2009 had an MSRP of around $73,000. Adjusted for inflation today that's around 108k. My ordered Emira spec is 109k and Id argue the Emira is a far better machine than the 2009 Evora yet essentially held to inflation.
