Lotus PPF ??

I've got a preliminary quote of $4,995 for full body PPF, but I don' t know that I really need it on the back of the car as much as the front and sides.

This photo of a white test car shows where the areas of wear and tear are going to be, and it's clear the sides are going to take a lot of it. PPF for front and sides would be a must I think.

I will still look at getting some carbon spats made for the front. I reckon that could make a big difference

$5k for PPF? These prices are just getting ridiculous. I'd rather spend that coin on a second set of forged wheels and track tires! I'll earn my rock chips. ;)

When I owned my 2005 Porsche Boxster I did the front bumper the front fenders and half the hood and after 10 years and 50,000 miles there were no blemishes on the filmed areas, but you could see chips on the half of the hood that wasn't covered, so I highly recommend if you're going to do it do the complete hood live and learn.
On the Emira I plan on doing the front bumper front fenders full hood and rear quarter panels.

This includes paint correction but that quote is also for the full car. Front, sides, A pillars and side view mirrors would be less which is probably what I'll do.

Here are some indicative UK prices for different levels of PPF cover from Lotus Kent:
