Magma Red Lotus Emira Photo Thread

Was there today for factory tour, absolutely fantastic, saw the Magma Red car, grey leather with the photographers surrounding it, beyond description! Have changed build to this from Seneca, although that still looked amazing!

That's quite the endorsement!

What do you mean by the seats still not being sorted? Are they still changing the seat foam or height?

Difficult to get a straight answer, they did mention both a"basic" seat and something more exotic maybe? Really did not get a detailed/definative answer. The quality did look excellent, my feelings are that they will not let a crucial element of the experience be anything other than A1.

The car I would say is a slightly deeper and more luxurious depth to it, you Magma lovers are in for a treat!

See, I feel like I would be more tempted by Magma Red if it were a warmer, more "saturated", vibrant red like in these photos:

...and less of a colder, darker, de-saturated red like it appears in these photos (which I fear are probably much more accurate to how the colour looks in real life):

bilbao.. they have no more info than you have... ie potentially starting to build in september, but that probably depends on UK starting to build in June, which we will see over the next 20 days or so.....

I like red but Mazda burgundy red not so much. Had to go with Nimbus.

I agree with you. If it was the top two I would have gone Magma. Unfortunately I’m afraid the color is like the bottom two, so ended up Nimbus.

Pictures never capture the magnitude essence of a paint metallic color. Pick from your heart, if your not satisfied sell it and get another one. You will make money. These are really nice problems..

I can see why people think this looks like a Ferrari. Imagine you don't know about Lotus and you see this across the parking lot. It's pretty reminiscent of the 488.

The interior seats still don't have the 3 embossed lines, so I guess they still aren't production spec yet?

Those ice grey seats are already getting dirty on the bolster. Will need to be very careful with it!

These are still non-production seats. The fit of the leather with the foam is off and they don't have the back three embossed stripes.

The red in these new photos is much more compelling. Still not sure on seats, those in the pics look quite sloppy!

We still haven't seen proper pics of DV, the ones yesterday were Shadow gray..oye...

The ICE interior looks much better than I thought it would! The first thing that comes to mind though is how hard is it going to be to keep clean.

Saddle soap works wonders!! On all leather, bags shoes chairs Emira sport seats!!

ICE seats look great. Storm trooper seats. Those were my second choice, but opted out due to issues keeping it clean. When with the alcantara with yellow stitch.

I would say the 3rd picture is best representative, it reminded of Rovers Mini, 200,400 series etc.... Nightfire Red Pearlescent, which is maybe a strange reference, but the paintwork really "pops", saw it on the road in Potash Lane from about 200 yards with the sun beating down on it.....really sparkled!
