Magma Red Lotus Emira Photo Thread

I have avoided alcantara because it looks and feels like crap
after years of use. The Fuzzy fibers wear off. I drive the wheels off my cars 200k miles. Leather can washed with saddle soap and reconditioned. Alcantara can stain. If your not keeping the car a long time or drive very low miles ( not a lot of wear & tear ) then it’s great. Initially it feels amazing.

One thing that is nice with Alcantara is the fact it provides extra grip for the driver during hard cornering, but other than that, it's asking for trouble on a daily driver of you ask me.
Got a lot of it on my GT4 (steering, seats, doors, dash, etc) and it requires a lot of attention If you want to keep it in good condition.

From seeing Magma Red at the factory I'd say that older render is too dark and doesn't have enough metallic. Eagle7's more recent renders and the configurator are more accurate.Wow if this is the color it looks fantastic

I’m wondering and hoping that Magma Red is similar maybe even better than the C8 Red Mist Metallic. I’m not usually a red car guy but that color is really good in my opinion, especially in person. I’m not sure if Magma Red is that dark though.

Had someone photoshop Magma using an example of fire red. Not sure it came out great, but here it is anyway.

A red car in the Lotus factory.
Where's that from? Definitely looks darker than the other red we saw in the factory/Spain, that's likely Magma

Magma and Nimbus first views for me. I'm very undecided now on my colour choice. I'm past my "lock in" day, but still not 100%. I'm prepared to suffer a delay to see the cars in person. Let's see what customer service say...
