New BBS CI-R Unlimited in Emira fitment

I'd be keeping the OEM set as winter and these as summer IMHO -- that's just me.
And why is that, is it due to the weight? I tried to find a weight spec but didn't see one.

If you need (or are obliged to fit by law in your territory/state) "true" winter tyres then the Lotus recommendation (excerpt from the user manual) is these :View attachment 31886
I won't use actual winter tires, as I won't drive the Emira on ice or snow. I'll use a set of performance all seasons strictly so temperatures won't be an issue.

I've done this for several cars and it works pretty well. Performance all seasons have a ton of grip these days so you can flail the car pretty hard all winter!

Looks better, probably the same weight and strength even if they are cast instead of forged.

The combination of BBS wheels, lower suspension and a car color are looking very beautiful.

Is the car in the picture in Shadow Grey color?

BBS has gone bankrupt about 5 times in the last 10 or 15 years. It's a constant refrain, but the company just keeps going. 😂

Those BBS look really nice, wonder what a set of bronze wheels would look like on a Seneca blue.

Yes I’m waiting to see what bronze looks like on a lot of colors. These wheels look pretty similar to OEM and not forged so, not sure they are super compelling to me. If they had some aggressive concavity it would be more interesting.

Maybe a bit too much like a Scooby? :D
As long as you keep a pack of State Express 555 cigarettes in the glove compartment, the livery is legal on any marque. :ROFLMAO:

If those weights are accurate, that's terrible. You would literally be making the handling of your car worse with those kinds of weights. Here are the factory wheel weights:

Emira front wheel = 8.5 x 20” +57 offset, 11.5 kg weight (25.35 lbs)
Emira rear wheel = 10.5 x 20” +54 offset, 13.5 kg weight (29.76 lbs)

15.62kg = 34.43 lbs.
