Interesting to see Hoosier have brought out a tyre to rival the likes of the Cup 2 and Cup 2 R. It is about time we get some serious competition to start the race to improve again.

Heh, don't forget to get your oiling in place before going into the Super 200 TW category.

Options are nice. It's priced at the top end and is reported to have low tread depth from the get go. See how it does!

Sorry kitkat I am not sure what you meant by oiling?

I thought they were worth investigating before I splash out on a set of Cup 2 Connects, which come with an option for Lotus specification.

I just mean if you’re going to upgrade tires to something competitive in the super 200 tw category for tracks hopefully you’ve got a baffled pan or better to help supply a strong oil supply during sustained high G corners. I can’t imagine the stock unbaffled wet sump is good beyond like 1.2G.

Great point Kitkat and yes I was looking at the one in a thread with looked good with metal baffles.
I have looked and no one sells them in the UK so I will probably resort to getting Cup 2 Connect tyres and fit them to my new Aerie wheels for the Summer.
