I posted about the Emeya to my local group thusly:

Today Geely unveiled a new EV sedan. It seats 4 luxuriously, has 4 wheel steering, adaptive suspension, AWD, tons of technology, 900hp(!), and weighs at least 4,500lbs.

They also put a Lotus badge on it.

From what I’ve seen I prefer the looks of the Emeya to the Eletre. Curious to see one in the flesh. The Eletre drives nice and I’d expect this to be be better. I personally hope it goes down well.

Was just messing with you, cheers ! Pictures may not do justice for Emeya, curious to see it in the real world when it becomes available. I like the idea of a flagship EV sedan for Lotus, considering their new lineup and design direction.

I attended the NY launch today, sharing some pics. Look, it’s a very nice car with a lotus badge, but it doesn’t give me a “true” lotus vibe. The name is also questionable.

A lot of carbon, a lot of toys. Seat massager! A transparent roof, carbon ceramic breaks optional.

One thing I don't understand, I've had a deposit for almost 3 years for the Emira, I own multiple lotus vehicles, and I get zero comms about any of these events. Pretty sad IMO. Would have loved to attend and bring the family and show them NY.

I totally agree, I only read about last minute it in a media magazine online article on Saturday morning, not from lotus direct. If I’m perfectly honest, it was a glitzy event, but when I was there, hardly anyone was there. Lotus really drop the ball on their comms…
