Emira Fiend
the front is a bit marmite but its a very interesting motor.
I'm nut and bolt restoring a 1994 MR2 T bar and its THE most over engineered thing on the planet. Fascinating revealing the detail of the components and how its been manufactured/assembled. Way way too heavy for the NA engine shipped to the UK.
...juxtaposed with the likes of the Elan and the Esprit. The Elan glove box is made of thick cardboard riveted together. The Esprit bonnet latch is difficult to describe but extremely simple and lightweight similar to features on light aircraft where simplicity and weight are paramount with enough safety margin to work for a long time.
I really appreciate both ends of the spectrum.
The Emira certainly a convergence of the two from what I have seen so far.
