Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

WoW.

Happy to see my unit built!

Although I think I should message CS.

A few mistakes made:

I asked them for Diamond Cut and yellow calipers, as well as black Alcantara with yellow stitch.

Easy to correct, bigger problem is they have installed the wheel on the wrong side 🤪

Jokes aside, looks great to me!

Can any techy type person put black roof and DC wheels on this pic?

I couldn’t find him on this forum, but his name is Phil Stevens. His photos have saved many sleepless nights!
I've asked Phil if he would join on here, or at least post up the original pictures. The ones on Facebook will have been compressed during uploading.

Lotus: pay attention!

A poor quality photo leaked from a cell phone is making people happy that they could confirm their color choice! Not a professionally done series of fancy photos, just a cell phone!

Get us the photos!!
Exactly this. Look how everyone on social media is jumping on these pictures, because we've had nothing from Lotus. They're also being down/uploaded and re-posted so getting further compression, and some versions are being image processed. The original uploads are here:

It's great we've got these ones from Phil but it's one picture of each colour (no DV or SG), taken indoors under artificial light in an assembly hall that's only got the weekend lighting turned on, not the full working lights. They're a decent representation of the colours if you take all that into consideration. But these colours are fantastically complex and vary a lot with lighting. They look stunning outside in good daylight. A good number of pictures of each colour taken professionally would be so much better!

I always trust in nimbus grey haha

Btw, why is still no v forged wheels photos ?

Damn the black pack does look good. I went straight Nimbus but definitely considering wrapping roof and mirrors. We’ll see it in person first. Loving the colour though.
I disagree - I think you lose the lines with the Upper Black. I'm planning on ordering mine the way you did. You won't know for sure until you're standing in front of it so you'll have to wait and see - but I only like Upper Black on Seneca. Personal preferences.

Needed to answer some questions for myself. Here's that nimbus photo with diamond cut wheels, yellow calipers and upper black pack.

@Magicman you were looking at the same thing right?

(also, have mercy. I think this is my spec. Just debating tan leather or black alcantara with yellow stitch).

can you update this w/ black forged wheels? personally the alcantara w/ yellow stich is what I'm going for. I'm not early enough for a FE though, so the zinc grey may also be an option if it's like nardo...

The result isn't great, but hopefully it helps. The black wheels on the configurator are washed out to almost total darkness on all of the side-profile renders, making them pretty wonky for photoshopping on top of this image. The only way I was able to make the diamond cut wheels work so well in perspective is because I attended Goodwood and took a million photos of the blue car with diamond cut, and used my own images from similar perspective and lighting.

I am going back and forth about the Black Pack. This is my build but can't decide Black Pack or Not! Would you be able to show this car with out the Black Pack? Hate to ask but this reproduction is really good.
