This colors screams needing black pack, was the first color choice I made and stuck to (even though I didn't end up going with nimbus).

I still think the safe option is to spec without and add later if you feel you made a mistake or simply want a change

Everyone's taste is different and @Balboa 's may be different than mine, but I went into my factory tour expecting to spec Nimbus with black pack, saw several about the factory , and then turned a corner and saw no-BP with black wheels and red calipers and my heart skipped a beat. It had more presence than anything else on the line, and that includes a vivid red. Any time I wobble on the issue I remember to trust that initial gut instinct.

Nimbus is such a beautiful color. It has such a premium look to it. I think it's the one color out of the 6 FE colors, that looks equally good with or without the black pack.

This is exactly my spec I was so close to going with yellow brake callipers to go with the yellow lotus badge and yellow Center cap and I think the yellow stands out more with the black wheels rather than red - wish I had now. I’ve had oodles of Red brake callipers over the years. My intention is to get black pack as retro fit - but I’ll see how good she looks without first.

Damn that looks good! That would have been my spec if I didn't finally opt for Seneca. Seneca is just such a special color, but Nimbus is classly as hell.... In the end I decided I wanted my Emira to be loud and exciting vs refined and classy. Can't go wrong either way with those body lines!

Yep.. they call it "a satin holographic silver graduate fade to black" and it's freakin awesome!

The more I see those DC, the more I think I need to go black! That'll be me not seeing my car until 2024!
