Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

Still tempted by Nimbus - if the actual build colour is more neutral and less warm than it appears here, which the colour sample discs suggested it might be, this would be an awesome spec.

Myself I chose the yelow calipers wit black Alcantara interior, yellow stitch, and the black rims, but your configuration works perfectly
i chose that because in the cars right now, I have one (Aston DB9) with red calipers and black wheels, black interior, green outside and the other (Range SVR) with blue calipers and silver wheels, storm grey outside and red interior, so for a little change I went for that.
To tell the truth almost anything goes, depends on your preference.

Great pictures. Nimbus and Magma are going to look stunning. Verdant is so dark, it'll look good but I wish they'd done something more like Motorsport/Racing Green.

I’m going nimbus , full black pack, diamond cut wheels , red callipers , eagle f1 tyres , sport pack , tan interior with red square bottom steering wheel , tracker , home link and v6 auto 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽 Can’t wait
Great spec! It'll be gorgeous!
Do you get the choice of color on the steering wheel? The US does not.

We have a black leather wheel or black Alcantara wheel. The Emira site here in the UK implies you can choose stitching for both options, albeit that isn't an option on the configurator at the moment.

It’s an option on the auto, not the manual. This is due to supply issues and Lotus are looking into if it’s possible to get them for the manual cars.

Nimbus looks to be a color shifter… when I saw it in Bellevue in artificial light with the sun down, definitely looks warmer… but the photos in direct sun suggest that it has cooler metallic highlighted with warmer undertones. Excited to see a full car in this.
Thought long about color choices and seeing Shadow Grey in person affirmed my preference for Nimbus Grey. It's kind of annoying the Configurator is so far off with (all 6) color representation. My Esprit was Titanium Grey and it spoiled me. Nimbus indeed changes personality depending on lighting yet that is precisely its charm (to me). Others have posted indoor views. Here are some outside in sunlight and against a metallic grey sedan for comparison. I've also paired it indoors with the Black Alcantara/grey stitching. The Emira's curves will broadcast different tones. Hope this helps.

I was a solid verdant before seeing the grey today. Now IM back at grey/tan.
Ah! This is the worst. I kinda wish it was like Ford said, “you can have any color as long as it’s Black”…

These decisions… Man they’re kicking my a$$! :)

Here is the paint sample picture from the show. It is not a flat color. Very standard “silver” color

It’s spot on for McLaren Blade Silver. I was told in Austin by the Lotus rep that Nimbus is Evora Silver from the GT with a new name although I think it’s closer to Signature Silver from the 400.

I was also solid Verdant/Tan and have moved to Nimbus/Red Stitch Alcantara.
