Nimbus Grey Lotus Emira Photo Thread

She just got her first wash (by me at least). Man, Nimbus shines like a mirror with a fresh cleaning and I haven't even PPF/corrected it yet!

Hey Guys

Side note here:

I have a nimbus and I like it, but I don't find the color that amazing. Everyone (online) says it kind of changes colors in light.. but I don't see it. To me it just looks like a regular metallic gray.

Is it possible they have differnet versions of nimbus? I thought it would almost look purple at times.

Well I don't have one myself but I have always seen Nimbus as a warm silver changing from silver to a champagne depending on lighting. I haven't ever seen anything that makes it look purple. Osmium silver is on the cooler side of silver and tends to look blueish to me.

I guess I meant more of a champaign.

It is very responsive to lighting conditions: natural vs florescent, sunny vs overcast, time of day. I like that the hues accentuate the design lines, richly so. Nimbus is a color with a personality.
Just check the various photos in this thread.

From all the post Meridian Blue and Nimbus Grey seem to be the most responsive to shifting under lighting conditions. Frankly looking at Nimbus in person sold me on it given how subtle and beautiful of a gold color it looks even in a darker garage.

So, how does it drive and sound?
Feels like better throttle response and somehow quicker. Sound is absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend enough. Here’s a clip of revving to about 5500. Use headphones :) I’m on my phone currently but I’ll provide more description in the proper thread when I’m home tonight or tomorrow.

You need to change your personal info to Emira Owner.

Nimbus gray definitely shows off the sculpting the best. Seen other colors live. IMO, looks best with black pack and black wheels, but that is personal preference.
Mine is Nimbus with no black pack, red calipers, black wheels and red lipstick eather. Absolutely epic.
