But had a visit to my local dealer and starting to plan for what next after a happy 8 years of TTS ownership and the Emira is looking like a very interesting possibility.

I have owned a Boxster in the past and don't have a strong desire for a 718 despite their excellence.

I also thought about an updated TTS or TTRS but I think I would feel like it was a lot of money for not a lot of difference.

I will be watching and waiting. My current thought would be the Emira SE variant Touring Chassis. Not really interested in rowing through the gears in a manual box anymore.

This would be my one and only, so it would sort of be my daily driver. In reality my wife's Audi S3 would probably be the daily

Hi, just joined myself. Not many Australians here. Been the Audi and Porsche route and S3,S4,RS$ and 997.2 S Manual. Loved alot of those cars but after 8 months I now adore the Emira. V6 Man as a Daily with touring has been fine.

Just go to the dealer in your state and take one for a drive. They are very helpful and a good drive will answer all your questions, and extinguish all the BS you see and read about in the influencernet.

I drove a TTRS because I was excited by the looks, but it drove remarkably basic and the driving experience didn't feel special in any way whatsoever.

The complete opposite of the Emira. It feels so special every time I walk up to it, and every mile I'm in it. Highly recommend.

I never test drove but I briefly looked at a used TTRS because I thought the 0-60 was impressive for the price. I’m happy I ended up going with the emira.

Sorry David, now owned the car for 11 months. Bought one same day when test driving it. Now at 13500km

I have the latest RS3 which shares a lot with the TTRS. I would say it complements the Emira quite well. It does everything very efficiently and feels slightly quicker than my i4. But it does feel quite artificial at times. There's a lot of trick diffs, clutches and electronics to assist with the handling whereas the Emira achieves more while feeling far more transparent and analog.
