Ontario Personalized Plate Denial - "Emira" is considered offensive by Service Ontario

Just got a notice that they have declined my personalized plate because it offends "political figures, dignities, or law enforcement". Even though I explained at time of application it's the name of the car. Gotta love bureaucrats. Anyone able to use the name Emira on their plates with success.

interpretation was Leader or Commander.

I AM IN ONTARIO AS WELL AND I HAVE 2 LICENSE PLATES WITH THE NAME EMIRA IN MY PLATE.

I WASNT SURE WHICH PERSONALIZED PLATE I WANTED MORE SO I GOT BOTH SO I HAD THEM. NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER.
ON A SIDE NOTE, I GOT DENIED IN ONTARIO FOR MY PORSCHE LICENSE PLATE. I HAVE A BLUE 2021 PORSCHE TAYCAN 4S AND I WANTED THE LICENSE PLATE BLUDREAM OR BLUEDRM (I CANT REMEMBER WHICH) BUT IT WAS DENIED AS IT HAD A DRUG REFERENCE. APPARENTLY BLUE DREAM IS A STRAIN OF MARIJUANA, LOL. I APPEALED SAYING THE F$%&ING CAR IS BLUE AND IT WAS MY DREAM CAR BUT THAT APPEAL ALSO GOT DENIED. I SENT PICTURES OF THE CAR AND EVERYTHING. I AM NOT SURE WHAT KIND OF NARROW MINDED POLITICS WE HAVE.

No problem getting “EMIRA” in Alberta, Canada. I tried but someone had it already. I then tried “EMIRA1” but it was taken; I later learned by my dealer when test driving a car with that plate on it. They applied for “EMIRA” as soon as the car was announced and couldn’t believe it was gone. I’m now stuck with “1EMIRA1” (lol). I can’t believe Ontario prohibited it.
