Hypothesis: Is car stored inside or outside where water can affect the paint.
My theory is that you will have more bubbling if rain Doesn't drain out and moisture penetrates. And if you car is always dry then there shouldn't be any bubbling.
Understand that the car came from England, where it rains alot. If some cars were left outside then the process of rain in the car would have started the unnoticeable bubbling process before it's arrival to you. So don't expect that you should have not gotten any bubbling if your car was always stored inside, but lets what the final poll shows us.
If your car has bubbling anywhere other than what is listed on the poll, let us know

Car manufacturer can’t make a car that’s suitable for rain?

It’s one thing having a bad batch of items from a supplier but entirely another if you can’t sort the issue out after a number of years and when it’s costing the business 100’s of thousands of pounds.

I changed voting so those of who voted can now select some of the other choices. Please change your vote to revote for more than one choice.

Your poll only works if data collected from owners who had their car from new as people who bought used have no idea how the previous owner stored it. Then, used dealers will pretty much always leave the cars outside while on sale so I'd guess that all trade car sales will have sat outside for a period of time. I wont answer the poll because while I personally store the car inside, it was on a forecourt for weeks/months and also has blistering doors so it would give you bad data. Perhaps you could create options for bought new vs bought used to split the results, although I suspect the sample size is going to be too small to achieve any statistical significance.

You my also want a "Doors replaced" option too.
