Just completed three mods ... have to say the car sounds SOOOOO much better and is more punchy (I think that is the best way to describe). It might be a placebo effect but it definitely seems to just hit a bit harder.

Pulled out the stock CAI and replaced it. While I like the 'looks' of Eventuri, the GRP represents the best balance overall. It was straightforward install although it took some negotiation to get everything lined up ... I still think I might go back and slightly adjust but it's good for now.

The decat process took some work but was pretty simple overall. Next was the Miltek controller and immediately hit 1 on the remote followed by making it default. The sound was great and I had a friend over (he conveniently showed up after I finished), after hearing OEM vs #1 he said don't ever go back to OEM :)

While I didn't drive/listen between each change, the combination of all three makes a difference, at least that is the perception I have.

Now onto cosmetic mods ...

The valve controller and 3rd cat delete combo rocks!

My 3rd cat delete pipe and VC are still sitting in the garage waiting for installation. How did your installation go? Do you need to expand the pipe?

I did not use the pipe extender. I measured before hand and the delta was less than 1/32nd. After install, on one side there was a very very slight gap ... enough to slip a piece of paper into part way. I left it as is for now.

The hardest part for the VC was fitting it into the recessed section and connecting the zip ties :)

I just installed the VC yesterday while doing an oil change. No decat pipe thou as I don't have a pipe expander ready. It was indeed very difficult to secure the VC in the recessed box.

How is the noise inside the cabin? I am tempted to install the decat and VC but wondering on this, If VC is set to OEM, I'm assuming it sound just as normal?

Only reason I ask is I had a 991.2 with an armytrix exhaust with VC, which when the VC was open made talking inside the cabin or going on the highway ridiculously loud and a bit excessive at times.

I've seen videos but its really hard to get a notion of the difference from that

Pretty similar to OEM when in that mode, so if you want to just cruise on the hwy and have be more normal, just put it in OEM mode and it's much quieter.

Putting in OEM mode is pretty close to normal and not loud. However, even with decat and VC open, it is not ridiculously loud anyway.

when in Tour, cabin is pretty quiet and you can have a conversation.

Once the valves are open, the volume in the cabin definitely goes up and listening to the infortainment/ having a conversation will not be ideal
