My driving habits have changed hugely in the 3 years. I hardly drive anywhere and don't really do any recreational road driving at all. Even driving to race circuits has changed as Mrs R now comes too and we take our motorhome. So it would sit on the drive doing nothing but depreciating and getting parakeet poo on it!

Completed checkout. Been assured I will receive it by end of March. Just need to hope we have glorious weather over Easter so I can start running it in. Only my second brand new car. The first was a Ford Galaxy after having twins. They are now 25 so time for my wife and I to enjoy ourselves!
Not received an invoice to pay yet, anyone had one?!
I got the call from Lotus Hethel today - Penned-in for collection on the 25th March (with factory tour). Just waiting for the finance team to contact me and get paperwork all sorted now... It's really happening!

They rang me yesterday to ask if I was going to check out. I pointed out that I'd checked out on Saturday and she then confirmed this from her spreadsheet
. Then I got another email today asking me to checkout! No invoice yet.Fortunately Bell and Colvill have been way more on the ball for everything. I'm hoping that once I can get through the invoicing , I won't need to deal with customer services any more.
Just had invoice and paid my daily limit from my app, be all done by Friday, got a reg number aswel, just need insurance now, if I wasn’t going skiing on Sunday then I’m sure I’d be the first in UK to have one!They rang me yesterday to ask if I was going to check out. where you going skiing? I’m off on Saturday to Courcheval. The snow looks decent. Just wondering if anyone has their UK i4 yet? I checked out on the 5th March and haven't heard a thing since. At check out they said it was due this month, but I'm starting to even doubt that now.

I checked out on 9th March and still waiting for some sort of invoice. Collection is booked for 30th March.
Quite a number of new i4's have appeared on Autotrader this morning. Orphaned cars are making their way to the market if anyone out there is looking for a quick buy.
I've been in touch with customer care who have said that my car is on target for this month still and that I should be getting the free servicing offer, but nothing more specific than that at this stage. As part of the interaction I did at least manage to get the V778 for the plate I'm putting on the car sent through to them, so that's a little bit of progress if nothing else!

I suspected that would be the case on the basis I have had a few calls from Lotus encouraging me to checkout. They sounded a bit desperate. As someone else said it seems crazy they built the cars without firm orders. If I was acting based on my head I would have let my order lapse and look To buy one in the secondary market at a discount. But I acted with my heart and did checkout, helped by offer of free 3 year servicing . I have been assured my car will be available by the end of this month, but as anyone on this forum knows, promises from Lotus are not always kept.

I had a chat with Lotus CC yesterday and mine was ready for collection now if I had not cancelled it. Ordered 8th July 2021 so fairly early. Probably one of those on Autotrader now.
One thing that may be in our favour with respect to this month (or perhaps a very slight slip) is that they are probably wanting to complete as many sales as they can before the 6th April (new financial year).
I have had a further email today from LCC saying that I will be getting the free service plan even if I collect in April - I had asked about the T&Cs of the offer as I'm getting PPF from Topaz Leeds and given the distance from the NE it is logistically easier for me for Topaz to collect the car from JCT, do the work and then return it to JCT prior to me collecting the vehicle, something that could have been problematic for any hard end of March cut-off on the offer. An additional trip to West Yorkshire would have been worth it for the £2.5k saving, but happy it now appears that won't be needed!
I’ve been in touch with topaz in Leeds too for a full ppf and ceramic coating. When is yours booked in , arid be interested in the experience, quality as it’s the first car I’ve considered this for. I’ve not booked in yet as I still don’t have a delivery date for Oakmere in Cheshire despite checking out as soon as the systems allowed.
