I've noticed a rattle that seems like it comes from the engine bay area; It seems to stop once things heat up, but is fairly persistent. My OCD ears tell me it is coming from the assembly on the cabin side of things back there. Has anyone else noticed/found the causation?

I have, quoting myself from another thread:

It might be in the interior. Back window, bottom edge. You can wedge you fingers between the glass and trim. Try having your passenger pull on the trim and see if it does something to the sound. There’s some foamy like blocks in there, probably to insulate the trim from vibrations. Sounds like they are instead rubbing onto something, like rubbing styrofoam together.

Hey Brett. I am having this exact same rattle noise as well. Pretty freaking annoying on a car I've had for a week. Did you ever figure it out and get it solved? Would love some input.

I had rattling/squeaking in the cabin. Turned out to be as posted above the trim around the internal glass window. I gave it a good push all around and it disappeared. While driving you can reach backwards to push the surounding trim to see if it stops and then you know where to fix etc.

Kinda fixed itself - maybe some of the pressing in that area when it was occurring fixed it!

Hi Nige. Thanks for the reply. I haven't had a chance yet to get someone to ride with me and push or pull on the glass surround trim to see if that's the cause and to try to identify a specific location. But the steps I've tried so far, myself, haven't done any good. I tried just pushing down on that trim, all around, and tried pulling out on it as well (but not while driving, of course). I then even slid a couple rags behind or under the trim in a couple of locations, and then drove like that. No luck. When I stick my finger under the trim, I can feel a place (about in the middle of the car) where this is some sort of fixed divider or foam piece. I wondered whether there were perhaps "clips" involved, where the trim is supposed to clip into some sort of fasteners to hold it, but that doesn't seem to be the case (can't really see anything unless the trim is somehow removable). Anyway, was just hoping to get any further detail you may have about how you addressed it. Did you literally just PUSH DOWN on the trim all around the window a bit, and it went away? Or did you PULL OUT on the trim rather than push down? Any other thoughts? Thanks so much.

I got a passenger to put pressure all around the rear window whilst driving on a none-smooth road until the creaking stopped to locate where to look.
It turned out that where the lip of the headlining met the glass window at the top centre was the issue for me. I was going to pack it with some foam behind, but by pulling/pushing it stopped, and has not returned 🤞 It's a minor issue but very annoying when you just want to hear the V6 !

Got it, thanks. I was finally able to get a buddy to ride with me, and his pulling outward on the trim below the glass, basically at a spot right in line with the driver's head, seemed to get it to stop. So I'll probably try some weather-stripping type foam in that area (and then ask a dealer about it whenever I have to take the car in for service, or something more significant). Cheers.
