Smoking deal on BAT + End of the V6 and Manual

Just saw a Bring a Trailer auction that ended today. A Verdant Green V6 with only 800 miles sold for $87k
That seems like a smoking deal to me.
In the BAT discussion some were saying that Lotus was going to close the book on all V6 Emira on Feb 15 and only produce the Turbo 4.
Maybe this has been discussed before. While discontinuing the V6 is good for my resale value I find it hard to believe that Lotus would abandon the manual at this point.

I honestly didn't think it was too shocking to see it go to 87k after seeing the yellow one on C&B in December. There is a 5% BAT buyer fee so the buyer paid $91,350 which I think is still a fantastic deal for the car.

There was one with 1700 miles that was bid to 85.5k (and sold for that + fee) back in December on C&B too

I guess with the auction fees it does bring the price up a bit
But low 90s is still a pretty good deal and hopefully this won’t become a trend, but I guess that’s the case with all cars
