Steering wheel infotainment controls

Hello everyone, How are you all?

I have a question for all Emira owners.
Besides listening to the glorious V6 sound, I also like to listen to some music on longer trips. From what i’ve seen/read, you use the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel to go into different widgets (up, down) and once you are in the desired widget you can use the left and right arrow to go through different sections within that widget.

But as I like the shuffle Through my Music i’m wondering if the arrows on the steering wheel can also be used to go to the next or previous song in your playlist when you are using apple CarPlay for example? Or can you only do that through the center screen?

If you first select the Music widget in the centre of the speedo area, by swiping up or down on the right hand steering wheel control, so that details of the current track being played appears in that widget. Then you will find that the left and right arrow on the RHS steering wheel do next / previous track.

On other cars I have, if you leave the car in a music mode (either radio or usb for example), when you get back in next time, it remembers the music mode and track. My Emira always seems to revert to the radio. Can I change this?

If you're running Android Auto, you can set it to automatically turn on the music at start-up. This will cause it to continue where it left off. But, if you last used the radio, it will STILL automatically go back to whatever Android Auto was playing at the time.
