Firstly apologies as this may have been covered, but my favourite YT pilot has done a horrible review on the i4, very disappointing 100 to 200, now pivoting back to the v6

Anyone got any experience of the turbo SE WITH 400 bhp, hoping this will change things as really want the torque for fast road driving. Appreciate maybe he had rose tinted specs on with this love of the v6
 
If you're referencing the video he did 8 months ago, that's the 360hp variant with little to no software updates to the DCT. My US 400hp DCT, at least in track mode, does not reflect anything that video describes. There's very little at the bottom but once you get up past 5k, the powerband is impressive and it sure likes to shout!!
 
The DCT slowness has been significantly improved with a software update (not PDK good, but getting there).
The 400bhp version has much more torque lower down than the V6. A recently posted drag race video showed just how quick the i4 is vs the V6. Downside is the i4 sounds pretty bad, and has fake engine noises sent to the speakers to try and compensate, which apparently is proving very difficult to turn off.
