UK paint warranty

It appears the UK paint warranty has changed from 5years to 3years. One screenshot from 9th October and the other today.

I assume this change is for new cars purchased from this date and cars purchased before this date the are covered by the 5 year warranty. We need the help of someone acquainted with consumer law; help needed!

That will definitively be the case. What the warranty is when you buy it, is the warranty you have, no matter what they change it to subsequently. That also applies if they make the warranty better than when you buy it though
