usb not connected

Hi

Has anyone else had any problems with memory sticks connected to USB.

Works fine, but each time I get back in car shows as "no USB device connected" and I have to disconnect / reconnect the USB memory stick for it to work again.

Brand new USB drive which works fine in other cars so not a drive issue.

Edit: tried using Type A port as well using a convertor and same issue

Not exactly issue with Memory Stick but my CarPlay is pretty unstable. Sometimes receiving a phone call via apps on CarPlay causes the whole media software to freeze. And you cannot unfreeze it until you switch off the car and leave it alone for a period of time.
