Anyone else received an Email from Lotus regarding V6 FE's being available for immediate delivery?
This along with phonecalls to people seem a bit desperate (I've never been on the V6 waiting list), and this is without the up and coming Aug price increase.

Lotus continues to defy logic. Certainly these are cancelled orders, but aren't there plenty of deposits with matching specs? And sold at pre-increase cost? Assuming this is going to ruffle some feathers.

And here in the States we continue to wait patiently (well, we continue to wait).

This will undoubtedly get some deposit holders blood boiling!! What are you going to do... or do you have yours already or one on order?

I agree, it does defy logic, if there is indeed a big list of awaiting depositors out there🤷‍♂️

I have a deposit in place for the I4, I need an Auto so have no interest in the V6 unfortunately.

People in the UK have been able to access these cancelled orders via dealers for several months.

Lotus seem to have abandoned trying to part-match to existing deposit holders and offer to them first. Seems odd not to let them know. I have a deposit for a Q2 build and they haven’t contacted me.

Succeeding with that kind of matching exercise would require a customer service team that is successful enough at reactive service that they can dedicate resources to proactive outreach. From what we've seen, LCC is certainly not that.

These are obviously cars that are cancelled by the original order customers. And the specifications do not fit spot on with other cars on backorder.

At least it sounds like a good opportunity for someone who can be matched with a car that has an agreeable specification.

Agree. Sadly most of us here could build a spreadsheet in about 30-min to match deposit specs to available inventory. Don't really need much of a service team for this exercise.

Do you think these Emails and phone calls are going out randomly then? As mentioned, I'm not even in the running for a V6.

Perhaps they are contacting only base i4 and V6 customers since they don't have a production schedule? Selling the V6 to that customer base is better than selling them a base car with less options? @TomE I would imagine that the remaining UK V6 F/E customers are already placed in a queue for factory production slots by this time? Although you have a base V6 order in as well.... so confusing on who gets an e-mail . I still can't believe they built the V6 F/E for the UK over an 18 month time period.

Who knows, I'm sure there is a method otherwise it smacks of desperation.

I took advantage and will collect an auto V6 on Monday, 2 weeks after being contacted. I originally had an i4FE on order.

I wonder whether they have been contacting anyone who has a delivery scheduled for next year to try and bring sales into this financial year.

I'd probably jump at this if I hadn't, you know, planned my cash flow around the build date I've been given... everything is either being plowed into house extension work or tied up in investments until next year 😖

Congratulations, If I remember well they phoned you didn't they?
Must be very nice to get that excited feeling back🙌

Won’t be disappointed I collected mine 6 days ago (auto V6) and it’s bloody brilliant

During the last 2 years wait, I’ve been contacted by LCC 3 times with different specs of cars that have been “orphaned”. All of them were quite a way off the spec I’d ordered, which made me think that they didn’t have the information to match deposits to completed cars. How hard can it be?

How many car are on the road in the UK?
Loads of cancelled orders for sale plus 45 on auto trader?.
Seems odd as all fe cars are essentially the same but colour.

Especially if Lotus is able to swap wheel colors at the last minute, which wouldn't seem too tricky. But I guess Hanlon's Razor applies.
