They tested the Emira of the Dutch Lotus Importer.
Mr. v.d. Kooi has very good relations with LHC over the years and it could be that in unofficial talks this hint was passed over to him.
So...... there could be some truth about this information.

First video I've seen of quick driving on the road.

NB start looks like the same one as above as must have been the drop off point for reviewers, but it's different.

We could do with some of these Dutch roads in the UK 😄

I particularly appreciate the matching trousers, that sir is attention to detail

Does look fun! 🤩
Yearh if we had a route of some open roads n twisties I’m sure we would of had a different feeling about the car but we had 30 / 40 mph built up areas couldn’t get to experience exactly where this car excels. Bradford need to change their route !
On the video didn’t think the exhaust inside the cabin sounds great 👎🏻

That's the thing. If you're going to drive this car for any amount of time, it's going to be through a variety of environments unless you live in an area that's gorgeous and your driveway lets out onto a great driving road. If you go on trips of any kind, it will be through towns and/or cities with different driving conditions.

How does it feel overall? On the daily grind, out on the fun stuff, or even on a long trip?

The exhaust sound on the video was from a small GoPro style camera he had on a headband. Those microphones aren't studio quality and aren't going to give an exact representation of the actual sound in the car.

Now this is what our test drives should have been like...:)!!

A great video. Would love to hear him describe the driving experience. I just went through the Tail of the Dragon last Friday and seeing this video makes me absolutely willing to wait, fester, and agonize until I get my chance.

The steering wheel seems right on this video, at least for my driving style. The other thing that caught my eye were the Becker Points (front wheel wells). Placing this car will be a blast, at least of to those of us new to Lotus and mid engine cars.

Love the video! Oddly does the red light on the car icon located on the dash indicate the rear hatch was open?

It's an online car review channel. Same folks who did the onboard cross-country driving video 10 days ago, in post #26 above.

dont know if dealer or customer... but is having fun regardless
I am not one to harp of acceleration here, but this 100-200 kmh time is hard to justify to me. It looks about as quick in that range as my old STi...

Not me, but a test drive non the less posted on YouTube:
I think this nicely shows my only real disappointment with the car. If you listen from 4:52 on it's a decent representation of the constant cabin noise which is dominated by transmission and supercharger whine. It's just not the best sound or the nicest to live with. Listen to any prior review on the evora 400 or 400 GT........Hmm. Just not sure why I need to go out and spend a good deal more money on the inevitable aftermarket system when I've just spent £80k. Sorry, sure some will like it and we are all different.

yes...but we dont know what road it was on...how clear...or how far his foot was to the metal as they say...
but this is NOT a quick car...we have established its not a track rat....

Couple of tests there with 12.1s 100-200kph, not sure they're driving it as fast as they could be, but there's a whole lot less shifting at those speeds.

Should be a little bit faster than the STi stock from 100-200kph.

I like 100-200kph metric the most because it's very representative of the acceleration performance you'd expect coming out of a medium to high speed corner at the track and onto a straight. The M4 I'm currently driving stock does this around 9 seconds and the newer G8X m3/m4 does it in just under 8s.

The video shows a rather slow 100-200 km/h time with 11,64s using third to fourth gear. But he‘s not revving it out to redline, shifts at 6500-6600.

With faster shifting and near redline shifting I managed a 11,17s.
