Will today reveal IE F4 pricing?

Maybe they just converted it then. Why should it only be 4.000£ cheaper in the UK than the V6, but 8.000€ in Germany and 10.000$ in the US?
In Article.
Pricing and order/delivery dates in Japan have not yet been determined.

If it was simply converted, I can't explain why there is no mention of a Japanese price.
Possibly the German and US prices do not include taxes, etc.
The price in Japan for the V6 First Edition includes the 10% tax.

Looks like you can spec the steering wheel with coloured inserts on i4 unlike V6 (manual) but it’s a £400 option.
edited because I forgot it was an option on V6 auto which was also a £400 option.

the base option lists are perfectly fine with me, as it will be a weekend car on touring suspension; plus leather seats and steering stripe it’s all I will want.
Also sounds like base colour choices are better too… :)

Well this is both exciting and the tiniest bit disappointing at the same time (that there was no clandestine power bump for the FE) ... but every bit of info released is entirely welcome! one step closer! :)

... and if you don't chose the "expensive" options in your FE config you don't get that value.

We really should have the base config plus options pricing by now to make an informed decision on what's best value.
Definitely be good to see how the FE £15k options are made up.

What we thinking, have I missed anything?

- 12 way seats £1200
- Drivers Pack £2500
- Design Pack £4000
- Convenience Pack £1500
- KEF £3000
- Nappa/Alcantara £2000
- Paint (metallic/pearl) £800

As @Leonard mentioned above it’ll likely be faster in the real world. If the cars come with Launch control it’ll also be fairly quicker to 60.

I estimate the published figures are conservative (unlike the V6 which we know is ‘emissions limited’).

I know we bang on about this but from a strictly marketing perspective couldn’t there have been a better way to announce this?

We know the guys at Lotus are a smart bunch and they’re busy etc but what exactly is the marketing department doing? Seems another missed PR opportunity.

Lower black pack?

True , like the base Cayman 2.0 with PDK is as quick as the GT4 manual.

I think you're right with that one.

If we take the Porsche approach to options:

Privacy glass
Alcantara roof liner
Alcantara sunvisors
Coloured stitch
Alloy/rubber sport pedal covers
Carpet mats

We don't yet fully know what will be bundled in a "pack" or what will be available as an individual option.

I think I am slowly getting priced out of the market. Let's day the I4 OTR is £73k and my Alpine A110 is worth £43k that's £30k and to put in perspective I am looking at a Cupra Formentor as the family cost that could be bought with that amount! If I am honest probably don't need the £12k for options but equally I reckon by the time I receive a base it could be 2 years from my July 7th deposit date! Feel like I might order an FE and change to a base later if they allow me. But equally also contemplating just keeping the Alpine and buying the formentor with the difference!

When you do the maths its a sizable difference in cost to change and the Alpine is a good car. I just cant see how they can maintain the price of the base model when delivery of it is more than a year away unless they have secured parts pricing for more than a year.

Fair point. If we look at the drivers pack for example, if you chose what I assume is the "default" configuration of touring/goodyear tyres then all you get for additional coin should you continue with touring/goodyears is a firmware update to allow track mode in the HMI.

I'm not sure that makes any sense, but lets see when the actual options and dollars amounts are released.

P.S. This pack probably also includes the two-piece brake discs versus one piece steel which is not listed.

It says on the configurator that the I4 FE isnt available until Winter 2023 (perhaps a mistake?).
