Window opens, when closing door

I think this might be a new one, but if others have had the issue would love to hear how they resolved it
My drivers window opens to about 80% open, when I close the door.

The window does the usual closing the last 5mm or so, as they always do when you close the door, then opens back up. I can turn the ignition back on and close the window perfectly OK, but it will not remain closed after closing the door. The are no obvious obstructions and the rubber seal looks to be fine
I am guessing it might be the safety feature that prevents trapping things in the window, but that doesnt explain why it works ok when manually closing it via the switch.
Off to dealer this afternoon, will update on the outcome, but if others do have ideas/suggestions, be happy to hear them

That would be my guess as well. I'd try the re-learning process (typically closing the window all the way and keeping the window switch in the up position for 5-10 more seconds, or sometimes releasing the switch after the window closed all the way and then pressing up again for 5-10 seconds).

I had a issue with it not locating at the top and they needed resetting.
I'm not 100% on the procedure but it's something like you hold the down button on for ten seconds. I think that re sets the low point.

According to the dealership, there is no re-learning process, so it has to go to them

Well amazingly Hendy Eastleigh saw the car this afternoon. Found nothing, but did whatever they did, to reset the software, so hopefully fixed whatever the underlying issue was
Annoyingly, I checked that the issue persisted before I left for Hendys(it did). Got there, got out of the car, closed the door and the window stayed up. Lots of profanity later, went in and handed the keys to them.
