Witamats - Emira Owners Be Aware all RHD Countries

I was going to order a set for my RHD Emira, but I guess that now I'll pass. Even if they ended up delivering what they're advertising, the way they've been dealing with @TonyV6-UK just doesn't sit right with me.

I had a direct contact via Messenger (just a few minutes before this message was posted in this Forum) ….
On 27th March mine was the only complaint they'd received (from the 20+ RHD sets they'd produced) and now just 4 days later, the whole matter looks to have been resolved - the power of social media is truly amazing sometimes.

My reply (via this Forum to Witamats) is as follows:
  1. I genuinely hope that you have resolved the problem and thank you for the quick notification - I just wish you had treated the original complaint in a more serious manner and not just hoped that I would go away, which finally made me resort to posting negative online reviews, simply to encourage a more responsible response.
  2. I will accept your offer for the new set of RHD replacement mats subject to including the $50 refund for "my patience" that has been promised several times in e-mails (and confirmed again on 27th March)

  3. My only other observation is that I guess that you will include the cut-out for the dead pedal area to keep the LHD & RHD models the same (as per your comments earlier in this thread) - If so, I want to make sure that, as I ordered the Double Layer Luxury Mats, the dead pedal cut-out area aligns properly with my top/upper mat because I want to receive 2 differently shaped profiles which would mean my left foot (clutch) would keep catching on the upper mat - I am sure you will have this covered off, but I would rather mention it now, before the production starts.
  4. Finally, please remember you also promised shipment by air to get the new mats to me as quickly as possible.
For the $50 refund you will need new card details from me (as I have changed banks), so please send me a separate e-mail and I'll respond with the new card info.

I hope to hear back from you very soon with an anticipated despatch date from China.

Finally, for other 20+ RHD owners - I hope they also get treated with the same respect - maybe you could send an e-mail directly to all 20+ of them, explaining the difference and offering them a free set of replacement mats ?

Sorry - just saw an important typing error in point 3 -
It should have said "because I don't want to receive 2 differently shaped profiles"
