Did the PPF installers remove this piece to install the PPF? My PPF installer removed some trim which ended up a bit loose. When I asked the Lotus dealer, they told me they don't remove those pieces for PPF installation, and the vendor shouldn't have tried to tuck in the PPF like that.

If you decide to go with a vendor that hasn't done an Emira before, I'd suggest at least showing them this thread and the photos above. And talk about how they might avoid running into similar issues. I would also try to negotiate with the dealer. Just my 2 cents.
