Yes, I'm in the industry, and exclusionary versus inclusionary coverage is a very important distinction that most folks do not even know exists. You are correct that exclusionary coverage is the superior product.
The new Forza Motorsport (no number anymore...it's now a continually-updated sim) has the Emira. I have driven it in my sim rig, and it's pretty close. Enjoyable to drive, and likes to step out quite a bit during quick transitions, just like in real life. Great brakes, and rewards smoothness.
Don't forget that most national carriers have drastically different prices per state for those of us in the US. I got the most reasonable quote of $1346/year from AAA here in Tennessee (Auto Club South) for 100/300/100 after my normal carrier Erie gave me an absolutely laughable quote.
I don't think it's ricey because the car won't see track use. (Think: 99% of Lambo Evo models sold.) I am more concerned about the effective transfer of the load without cracking bodywork, and I don't think the compromises required to cut the bodywork to do the GT4 mount would be worthwhile for...

I totally understand. There are some Ferraris I like (F355, 458, etc.), but most I do not. There are almost no Lambos that I would want. On the other hand, I always think of McLaren as kind of the big brother of Lotus, and the 600LT seems to have a natural spiritual kinship.
I see you're in the US. I'm in the car business in the US and our extended warranties are one of the things I work on.
One important thing to look out for is inclusionary vs. exclusionary coverage. Inclusionary means "we're naming these things and that's all that's covered." Exclusionary means...
