Need advice on extended warranty

Thanks for your advice. I will probably wait on buying the extended warranty.đź‘Ť
I see you're in the US. I'm in the car business in the US and our extended warranties are one of the things I work on.

One important thing to look out for is inclusionary vs. exclusionary coverage. Inclusionary means "we're naming these things and that's all that's covered." Exclusionary means "we're covering everything but this stuff." Exclusionary is obviously better. And yes, you can buy a million different warranties after the fact, although rare cars like ours often do not have a claims experience rating, so it may take some digging to find a provider.
