No, everything is stock, but you’re correct, the mechanic told me if it happens anytime soon it needs to be investigated where the excess oil is coming from. If it only happens once every 5 6 thousand km it’s ok.
There aren’t any in my country but the shop I go to now is amazing, they also work on the rest of the lotus’s here (3/4) as I’ve mentioned so their knowledge from the Exige & Elise was actually spot on regarding the issue.
So apparently there was oil on the MAF sensor in/near the supercharger...
In time for the holidays lit up like a Christmas tree lol damn, it has reduced power, the sound from the exhaust was way off, I reset the codes and it started normally but I parked it and took my folks RS6 perf luckily they’re abroad so I wasn’t stranded, will look into it here and I’ll take it...

I might go to a local shop that works on all other lotus’s (2 exige 430 cup and 1 Elise 250 cup, there are no more haha) to change the sensor and seal...
Hey, do you happen to remember what was the root cause of the P223D fault code or what it means ? In the search engine you’re the only one who got it/mentioned it , my first engine light in two years hope nothing serious (it did go away after a few hours)
