When I suggested 7:30 it’s because I was mapping from my house, which is further north. I’m fine with whatever makes sense. We should leave a little extra time to gas up in Carlsbad.

Yes. There was one in the trunk of my car at delivery, and about two months later one appeared on my doorstep from Lotus 🤷‍♂️

I use a Uniden R8 with a wiretap to the connection for the USB port in the mirror housing and a Stealth Mount to hang the detector. The nice thing about Stealth Mount is that you can easily pop the detector out if you don't want it left in plain sight while you are away or want to swap it...

Someone makes a dry carbon sill cover for the Emira. You can find it on eBay/aliexpress. Kind of pricy though.

In the passenger-side footwell is a panel that covers the fuse box. 4 plastic 1/4 turn fasteners, and then you have to wrestle a bit with the panel to get it out. Getting it back in properly is even harder - the bottom of it hooks into place in a channel that you can't see in the pic below...
