V6 and i4 side by side

Which do you prefer in terms of performance/handling?
Only had 70 miles on the i4 but it is more responsive in the city since the i4 will keep rpm at 3K in sport mode so you get a lot more low end torque.

I assume there is decent turbo lag when not in Sport mode tho.

I purchased a 24 Emira 4 cylinder, AMG DCT, I am really impressed with it, it is the 400 hp with the DCT upgrade, I am very happy with it! Great turbo sounds!

Congrats on the new Emira, and welcome to the forum!

I have an i4 and do notice the turbo lag when in tour mode. It feels like a different car when in sports mode- virtually no turbo lag and a lot more responsive. This is what I hoped the Emira would be like and so love the car.

It's not necessary a turbo lag, but more like a completely different throttle map just to save on fuel. I never drive in tour mode after breaking in.

Yea, sport and track have different throttle and gearbox mapping. keeping the rpm higher so there's minimal if any turbo lag.
