There's a separate tint thread where some of us Atlantis Blue folks posted pics (below). I think it depends on if you got the factory tint and your preferences on privacy and looks. Definitely get ceramic for the heat resistance properties.
I do not have the upper black pack or factory tint...
I originally had my car only ceramic coated through the dealer. Everytime I drive I get nervous about rock chips which took some of the fun out of the drive (personal problem). There were some issues with water spots on the front end and since the dealer had to remove and recoat anyways, I...
Optimum No Rinse (ONR) rinseless car wash might do the trick for you. Bucket of water with ONR, spray some on, soak a mitt or microfiber towels, gently glide over each surface, dry with a dedicated microfiber drying towel...done.
I ordered the Alcantara steering wheel without giving much thought, then found a whole online cohort of people who despise it. I feared for my life after my order was locked and thought I would have to trade my car immediately (JK). I actually love it :D I wouldn't necessarily advocate for it...
I have almost always gotten 20% for all my cars (white) and love the darker aggressive look and privacy. I have an Atlantis Blue Emira (black alcantara interior) and went with 50% of the highest quality ceramic tint for UV protection and heat control. It's very obvious it's tinted under...
Thanks for sharing, these look amazing! Is Forged Charcoal a custom color? I don't see it listed on the GRP website. I think they'd look great with Atlantis Blue, the brake dust drives me nuts on silver.
My current other car is white, and the two cars I owned before that were....also white. I love white cars especially augmented with black roof, trim, tint, rims, etc. For the Emira I went with Atlantis Blue. I just felt this car deserved a color that looks beautiful on top of everything else...
What kind of work did they do for you? I had mine ceramic coated by the dealer but now I'm kind of regretting it. I have water spots and swirls still happen. I may get a front PPF instead.
First time I stopped to get gas I parked next to a clean 70s Corvette (C3). A lady walked out of the gas station market and immediately walked over and said, 'are you kidding me a Lotus?' Her son had driven a Lotus and asked to take pictures to send to him, while repeatedly saying 'she's...
Unfortunately this Thursday won't work for me. I also just saw that it looks like it might rain on Saturday, so most likely scratch Saturday morning for me too....
I got some stuff going on Saturday as well, so I was thinking of having coffee at Mercurys Coffee on NE 20th St in Bellevue between 730-9am before getting started with my day. Anyone able to meet up? I can be flexible with time and place, but I haven't seen any suggestions.
Someone picked up a Zinc Grey when I picked up mine, I chatted with their friend who was super excited (I forget the name...). I'm up north where I5 and 405 meet, super easy to get to east side. Plus I need to add miles to break-in the car lol. Just to throw out options, I know Mercurys...
Now that you mentioned it, I just noticed that @allenyao09 's first pic is in front of Park Place Ltd where I picked up mine 😂. Would be great to meet up some time! Tomorrow evening isn't going to work for me, perhaps we should start a Seattle thread? I'll look into ELCC too.
I went back and forth on this a lot. I ended up not doing PPF but I did do ceramic coating through the dealer. With potential paint problems, some cases of ppf peeling/pulling paint off, etc, I figured I'll just deal with whatever happens with not having ppf.
Been a long time of observer of this forum and finally received my Atlantis Blue Emira. Not a ton of of pics out there for this color so I figured I'd add mine to the pot. LOVE the car so far!
