I've not had any issues with Android Auto and interruptions playing music. I've had a few odd bluetooth disconnections but if connected the music keeps playing. This is on a Pixel 7, using Symponium as the player.
You body your choice of course. But if that is the route you take, I've heard although manual transition is often preferred, 8-speed dual-crutch transition often feels faster...
I did mine like this a week ago.
I have the nail polish and remover left over - 99% left. If anyone wants to do the same I can send these on - just drop me an PM.
The knob was left in in place. It only took 5 minutes. I used a thin brush to paint in the indented decals, the nail varnish flows in well by capillary action it almost paints itself. Then with a bit of kitchen roll and nail polish remover removed any excess nail polish from outside the indented...
Coloured in the shift pattern on my gear stick as several others have done here.
I "watered" down the nail varnish a bit to make it like a "wash" to allow the aluminium to show through the colour a bit.
I now have black, red, yellow nail polish along with some (non-acetone) polish remover if...
Possibly you are trying to read to much into the reasons and economics behind these decisions. There is the chance he is doing it simply to gain votes, it's a good populist headline; "Bring Jobs Back To America".
The only Emira I have seen in person with the issue had blisters all over the doors not just around a metal strip and also along both sides of the rear pillars along and below the First Edition badge.
I have to admit when I had a test drive in a UK i4 I didn't notice the engine noise particularly (got a V6 in the end). But the amp-on noise sounds really fake when you hear them back to back like that. And the non-amp engine noise sounds way better.
Oh for sure - if you're a leftie you're entitled to swap your wallet pockets at least.
To be honest - I'm kind of ambidextrous and swap around all the time - I have trouble knowing left from right without carefully thinking about it. It's been infuriating my kids recently as they are learning...
If it's not too bad and too deep you can do a fairly decent job yourself. it just needs spending a while with some sandpaper and some matching paint. Note that the "silver" parts I had thought were just clear varnish on the alloys do in fact seem to be painted silver instead - the alloy of the...
No idea - both were done on my car before I got it. I'm the second owner. There was no documentation with the car so I spoke to Milltek and sent them some photos (great customer service from them by the way) & also had the car emissions tested at my local garage that I trust.
This is something I had been told too by Milltek. The 3rd cat is only needed for US export - not legally needed in the UK.
Also I I double checked and had my Emira with the Milltek valve controller and 3rd cat delete checked for emissions; it was fine the the UK MOT and also London ULEZ.
Welcome!
I'm originally from just down the A6 in Duffield but now based in Essex. I spent many days in of my youth in Matlock. I also still got my Elise in the garage.
You're going to have a lot of fun in the Emira around North Derbyshire and the Peak District.
Just don't try and race the...
According to the paint thread "new doors have a dark black/blue primer." on the interior skin - you need to look up from the bottom of the door through one of the vents to check.
Thanks for that, I learnt something new. I'd assumed the USB sockets were power-only - but from this post I checked the user manual and read that the USB ports in the armrest supply data as well. Nice to know.
Thanks for posting this.
Knowing about the paint issues I bought my second-hand '72 Emira on the understanding that the paint was covered for 5 years as stated on the web site. I love the car and so far the paint has been fine. But I have less than a year of my 3 year warranty and so if paint...
OK I went out testing today and found a steep hill to test it on - and found my hill hold assist is working fine.
- It needs to be a fairly steep hill
- You need to be in 1st gear, clutch in and foot on brake
- You need to be stationary
- Take your foot off the brake
- The car is held on the...
I assume it is a thing on the Emira - at least according to the manual and also the other threads on here about the opposite problem of their hill-hold assist not releasing.
Just re-reading the manual and I can see that on the images of the tour and sports main dash panel there's a square, green auto-hold icon, although this is not mentioned anywhere in the text. I have never seen this illuminate.
