I’m far from politically savvy but I’m pretty sure Trump described Mexicans as “Drug Dealers, Criminals and Rapists” and now he wants them all to be part of the USA?
From “build the wall” to “take down the wall and remove the border and invite them all in forever”… it’s a pretty big pivot.
Oh...
Whilst I understand Trumps America first ideology (not saying I like it but I broadly get it). I don’t get why you make such decisions without what looks to be much consultation or thought (remember the ban on flights for some countries during his last term?). It feels callous and more like...
I once had something similar… Just held the button up and kept it pressed for a while even after it went up. Then held I’d down and kept it down for a while and it sorted itself out.
Similar here with Admiral - 52, full NCB, couple of minor claims for partner in last 5 years, 3 points and costs £650 a year for us both - down from £900 last year.
Do we know if the new gear gator delete option in the configuration means that there are OEM parts that will enable the same mod?
Sorry if this has been asked before…
I know an Emira is not about top speed…
In fact it’s one of its least important numbers…. however I still like driving too fast as and when it’s suitable.
I’ve had mine is to just over 150mph (243 kmh) and it felt pretty lively - fun but lively! It was on a undulating slightly curved section...
I have a cable plugged into the usb and if CarPlay won’t connect I plug the cable in to the phone and that then makes the car play start… I can then disconnect the cable.
Nope… I guess that may have been the problem!
I only removed the rear floor panel that covers the exhaust…
Do I need to remove the one in front of that as well to get to those 2 bolts?
How did you get the 3rd cat out?
I couldn’t work out how to get the cat off the 3 fixed bolts on the flange. I could get the nuts off but then was stumped…
Hill start works great but you’ve got to press the clutch for it to work. IE stop with the clutch depressed.
If you cruise to a stop in neutral and release the brake the car starts to roll back.
I used this paint. It goes on quite thin so I did about 6 coats and it came out well.

I think it’s a good match for the callipers however the seat belts are a yellowier / deeper shade. So...
Brad at Hide & Seam (who re-trimmed the wheel) had the belts swapped over as well.
He sends them in to a specialist who’s already done a few sets of Emira belts.
They have all the correct accreditation.
Seatbelt colour change today.
I was going to get them untwisted but I forgot to ask the guy to reverse the direction of the sliding clip thing and the slot the belt goes through is too thin to turn them over yourself - you need to slide them on the end of the belt facing the direction you want…
If anyone’s wanting to send the seatbelts away to be redone it takes around 1.5 hours to strip the rear to take both belts out.
Interestingly my car was an early build and was initially delayed due to some delayed interior trim…
Looks like they were in a hurry to ship the car out!
