Im very well familiar with lotus and their battery drain. On my Evora I needed to do a little dance with it so it could start strongly. One of the first things I did was install an antigravity battery.
With it, also have the battery tracker to monitor the % of battery left. This morning, after the car had sat for a few days, I got in and tried to fire it up and it did not want to start. Didn’t crank very strongly (felt like stalling) and I let off the start button. Checked the tracker and had 95% battery. Tried again and it fired right up. The rest of the day went fine with multiple starts on and off.
The only thing I noticed that the first time I tried to start it I noticed the software was “not connected”. On my second attempt it was connected. Wondering if the weak start has something to do software? Anyone else experience this?
Side note: had new cats and o2 sensors installed per a dealer fix from a check engine light I had going back a few weeks
