I'm assuming that it will "start at under $300K". 🥺
At 300k they won’t sell many at all. Lotus haven’t established themselves at all in Aus. My opinion if they have my chance is to come in at 250k fully loaded….

I wonder why the difference between FE and base is less for the V6? Some of that would be the luxury car tax, but not all. Does the V6 base come with more included kit perhaps?

The difference is probably the local dealer lining their pockets. In the US, the gap for both engines is $11K USD - exactly the same.

Hi,

With regard to the Base Editions, I have seen these prices advertised in articles etc, though nothing confirmed on the Lotus website?

I am looking to put a deposit down for a build spot for a Base Edition v6 Manual, though don't want to find out later they up the price for some reason? Any info would be great, thanks!

Hey mate these prices are on the website. I also suggest you contact the dealer as well. All prices are listed on the simply sports cars website as well.

Hi thanks for the ref to Simply Sports Cars.

I spoke to my local dealer (WA), who gave me the recommended sales prices for the base (which match what is being posted), though a comment along the lines that he couldn't confirm the price until its on the Lotus configurator, as it is open to fluctuate (e.g. current exchange rates). I can't seem to find the base model $AUD prices on the lotus website or Simply Sports Car's website, I'll keep looking. Cheers

I wouldn't believe the exchange rate comment as they factor that into the published pricing. Just compare the V6 vs i4 price differences in AU versus UK versus US to see how much buffer is built in. (Ans: a lot!)
