BEST 3rd Cat Delete (for USA customer)

Assume majority of you have removed the 3rd cat on V6 cars. Does anyone know if the Turbo bypass pipe is the same? For US residents what distributer did you order from doesn't look like Milltek sells direct.

mine is mounted right behind the license plate. it was the only place that hid it somewhat,.

Take it out you'll find it's probably melted, you should get a new one and remount it on the corner of the bumper, I think Greg has some photos of where to mount it on his site.

I’d recommend getting a new gasket. The factory one is a one time use type piece.

^ This. Do not mount it behind the license plate. Take the time to run the wires along the bottom edge of the diffuser trim and mount it over in the wheel well cavity. With three little carefully placed zip ties you can’t see the wires once everything is bolted back up.

Exhaust on the I4 cars is all different.
If Milltek makes it we can get it for you but I don’t believe anything is available from them in the U.S. yet except the valve controller. I can double check Monday though
Our own in house Exhaust kit is coming soon though also.

I removed mine, not melted, but I opened it and the circuit board is corroded. I assume water got in somehow as I could not see any seals. I do recall strange check engine lights after a wash, so it may be just that it got wet inside

Milltek UK and US dont have a decat listed for the I4 cars yet, just the muffler kit (adding to our site shortly)
We just received in our first I4 muffler, decat, high flow third cat and high flow downpipe if you are interested. I should have it on the website tomorrow.
If the demand is there we will make our own oem replacement I4 decat pipes as well.

Personally I'm not interested in removing Primary cat -with O2 sensor. Unless there are big HP gains which is unlikely.

The valve controller remains the same for the I4 as it does for the V6 cars so we have that covered already.
Exhaust is getting loaded onto the site asap and I will work on making a oem decat replacement as well for guys who want to keep the stock muffler.
