Hello all, warning popping up saying Coolant level low, seems a bit odd for a car under 1000 miles....does anyone know where i check this and if it is low....how do i rectify it ??

Its on page 195-196 of your manual under vehicle care. Your pages may differ than that since I have older e-manual. You have to remove some trim panels to see the markings. You can add some if really low to drive (and meets coolant spec) but I'd get to dealer as it shouldnt be dropping any. Hopefully its just a bad level sensor.

Hopefully it's just a weeping coolant hose clamp. Gotta look around for any glycerin crust and trace it. Very common on other vehicles during the winter from extreme temp cycling, especially if clamp not torqued to spec.

Cheers guys , called dealer , said check the levels and if just a wee bit low top up with water and keep an eye on it …if very low ..book it in 👍

I was swapping out the engine cover and saw the main coolant reservoir is low. Never got any warnings on the dash. What is everyone using to top off? Do we need any specific coolant? Funny thing is it was at Lotus just a month ago for an oil change so not sure if they checked it/topped it off or it has been dropping since the service.

I assume your Emira is no longer "on Order" :)
Sorry, but cant help on the coolant to use, but would suggest finding out if they checked the level during the service and if they did, what has caused it to drop that much in a month

Please not that there are 2 coolant levels HOT and Cold, if you put a mirror behind the bottle for cold you will see the mark.

Cheers

oh interesting. So those markings on the picture I posted are for hot? I looked around, but didn't notice any other markings...
