Seeing those pics, it really makes me wonder why Lotus couldn't do any proper pics of DV themselves. Looks great. Some lovely cars here today.

Not quite limo tint but I know what you mean. Emira Privacy glass light transmission is about 25% whereas limo tint is usually 5%I think it's the angle and lighting. When you can see through it to the door window on the other side of the car, it doesn't look so bad, but otherwise it almost looks like a limo tint.
Right, but until you can see through to the other side of the car, you can't see through it at all, at least not on the video. Not quite limo tint but I know what you mean. Emira Privacy glass light transmission is about 25% whereas limo tint is usually 5%
I guess that’s why they call it privacy glass!Right, but until you can see through to the other side of the car, you can't see through it at all, at least not on the video.
- Honestly Leonard....you kill me with some of your posts... epic really for pointing that one out...Love it. The only bit that still upsets me slightly is the hollow rubber strip and it showing each side.
Not sure why it couldn't have been solid?

I hated even posting it as EVERYTHING about that car is epic (ride height withstanding but it will 'settle' 5cm over time )- Honestly Leonard....you kill me with some of your posts... epic really for pointing that one out...
Maybe it has to be able to flex when the car is doing 180 mph. At those speeds, the front of the car might be pushing up against it.Love it. The only bit that still upsets me slightly is the hollow rubber strip and it showing each side.

True story isnt itcan't be solid to allow the hood to open,....... but how about a cap on each end molded into the rubber to hide the cheapness appearance ? It looks unfinished. Lenny is correct on this one.
It looks like something that lotus picked up at home depot or the corner hardware store in the weather stripping Aisle.
Pretty much black!
Since the Belgium pics I have gone back to DV. Night and overcast will certainly be more black than green. I personally like that. I was more worried that on bright sunlight it would come across more black than green. Like BMW carbon black has a tinge of blue. This to me is green and in sunlight clearly so. At night any dark shade of colour may look black... dark grey's/greens/blues. So if you like brighter coloured cars, than DV is not going to work. I like darker shade on cars. More sleek and a little more under the radar. Less ostentatious than the brighter ones. (don't get me wrong Seneca blue is my number 2).So has this slew of additional photos and the video swayed anyone's opinion one way or the other?
In honesty, I'm a bit put off by them. Too black for my taste I think.
