Emira Limited. 12.12.2024
A tribute to our Formula 1 history, a series of five iconic colourways limited to 12 cars each.
Available in only 12 European markets.
In honour of Ayrton Senna’s number.

I wonder if the "colourways" have anything to do with the Emiras I saw at the factory a couple of weeks ago painted in isotope green?

This is largely about increasing the average profit per Emira sold. Lotus has admitted that their profit margin on Emira is low, so they plan to boost this via more customisation and limited runs.

I suspect the price to get your hands on one of the 12 cars in each colour will make people weep.

We have seen this before from Lotus with seemingly endless special editions of the Elise, Exige and Evora, many of which were little more than a nice paint job, decals and interior trim tweaks. The Exige LF1 is a good example: stunning to look at but mechanically identical to a standard Exige V6.

I'm still hoping we will see an Emira R with some more substantive changes like weight saving, more power, adjustable dampers, and at last some decent bucket seats. That car, if it ever comes, is surely going to be over £100k though.

To bad it's only for the European market, I'm a sucker for a special limited Edition.

It will be the 2.0 AMG version for sure. I was at Lotus in Central London Friday evening and they confirmed the V6 won't be coming back. If you own one don't be in a rush to sell it because it will be collectable. The sales guy also said sadly they are only going to concentrate on electric sports cars and likely the Emira will go that way and the current models will get dropped.

Sounds like he didn’t read the most recent press releases

Are they not currently producing V6's then??

Only 4 Bangers
No production stopped, I apparently was one of sixteen people to miss out, I was originally scheduled for delivery Q1 2024 I did the protection and enhancement also sent private registration details but my vehicle never materialised. I was then informed that I wouldn’t get my vehicle until 2026.

Must be a uk thing then, I can order a base v6 with my dealer still

I saw V6 cars on the production line 2 weeks ago. Ok, I wasn't paying attention if any were UK RHD models, I was just happy to see the V6s.

Yes just UK, I’m assured it will return but the focus is fully on the Emira Turbo
Interesting, as I thought the V6 was only going to be made until 2027 anyways, so surprised they'd re-start just for a few months.

Time will tell I guess.

It’s a mystery to me, I had cash waiting they knew I was cash but sadly they didn’t want to provide my vehicle……I’ll get one at some point I won’t let them win!
Surely the thing to do now is find a stock vehicle at a dealer that matches your spec, and save a shed load of dosh?

What was your spec??
