DOH! you see an actual car and you are already picking it apart. Im quite impressed, I think the shadow gear with tan looks pretty smart, nimbus with that look Im all in

Comments like this are probably why Lotus hasn't released any official photos... These still aren't yet customer production cars.

I’ve seen mudding dodge trucks with less wheel arch gap - noticed it right away. Colors look good and I guess suspension can be adjusted

I went to look at the colour palettes today at a local dealer in Ontario, Canada. Check the google drive links for video. I nabbed the red and blue and put them in the sunlight.




A few notes: the leather feels pretty average quality, as expected from a lotus sports car. The same is true for the alcantara, which feels borderline sub-par but probably wont matter on the seat.

All photos/videos were taken with an iphone 12 and look pretty true to reality.

Hey I recognize that voice ha, thanks James, quite helpful. I've been wondering about the leather for a while now as I hate when leather interiors have grainy texture. Smooth and soft is the way to go. I think I'll be going with Alcantara with some colored stitching instead.

The new pics today are on several of the Facebook Emira groups and originate from Instagram accounts. Taken by dealers at this week’s dealer conference at Hethel. Naughty naughty, but thanks folks!

The new grey is Zinc Grey from the extra 7 colours coming for Base Edition.

And yes, they’re not production spec cars.

Looks way to large - really spoils the look. Don’t understand why Lotus made it like that. Even if there is a lot of suspension movement the tyres should be able to travel up inside the bodywork. Show cars looked much better.

I disagree. I hate the slammed look of the show car. Looks like some racer boi got ahold of it and thinks its a '99 civic. The stance looks fine in these pics, and likely looks even lower in person.

Call me shallow, but I'd prefer something ever so slightly lower than what we see here (but not necessarily dumped like the show car) ... knock 10mm off and I'd probably be happy.

I don't think anyone expected it to be slammed like the blue prototypes, but I had hoped it would come in similar to the grey functional car from Goodwood / US dealer demos. This looks significantly higher, especially at the front.

Edit: some of this could be some fisheye effect from photos taken from the front corner of the car. I'd love to see a straight shot from the side using a long lens, similar to the photos of the grey car from NYC.
