First to Second Notch

Does anyone else find this incredibly annoying? Feels like a notch going from first to second gear. Makes shifting slow especially when driving spiritedly. Doesn’t seem to be there when car isn’t moving. Has been an issue since the lifetime of my car.

I think everyone has this. Can confirm the short shifter effectively makes the shift one notch instead of two. Stock it feels like you pass through neutral then into second if that makes sense.

I feel it on first to second and downshifting third to second. Interesting the short shift kit removes that feel, might be a worthwhile upgrade. For sure on sprited trips I have for sure had issues getting into second.

Have to be slow and deliberate with second unlike other gears. Could be just how that shifter is setup, I believe the evora used the same.
