First viewing at Bell & Covill

I picked up two bits of additional information for the reps there:
1) expectation is that we will be able to spec the TDC stripe on the steering wheel on FEs.
2) i4 FE is expected to be priced at £75k on the road.
What?! the i4 FE is 14k above base?! It can't be, if it's that close to a manual car then the i4 FE wont get sales. 60k + light options will be seen as a steal in relative terms, and those willing to spend 74k on an i4 FE will just opt for a manual. If this IS true, then the performance difference must be negligible if non-existent, the options must be eye wateringly expensive or the 60k base must be completely gutted. Very very odd. In the next round of queue calls for i4FE and i4 own they must provide the cost of options, surely...

Great photos of the swatch at different angles and lighting. Thank you!

Thanks for all the pics and info .. we get to see the car tmrw at B&C. I was quite excited until reading the potential £75k figure for the i4 FE! Add the Black pack, steering wheel and tracker and it’s heading further north! It could price a few out of budget, me included. Would be interested to know the emission figures for the i4 too as this will have a bearing on the horrendous car tax upon registration. (Adds nearly another £2k to the v6 price 😳)

@TrickeeKiYay
Thank You for your pics and write up they are really useful 👌🏽 . What was your opinion of colour on the nimbus grey was it more silver or more nado grey in the flesh is it a flat colour or metallic ? Also when did you pay your deposit and did they give any idea if how many FE cars there would be at all?

If that is true then it also means at £74k they are pricing the FE options list at a £14k premium over the £60k base model cost....
Seems a crazy amount to me, I hope this is not right. £71-72 makes sense to me. +£14k if added to a base model would then make sense.

My mind just keeps saying what else can I get for £80k as cool looking as that , with warranties and hassle free driving and a hole load of fun ..
£80k is the cap for me on what ever engine 👌🏽

Wow- the red and yellow look much better in the photos than on the configurer. I’m sure that many a red Emira will be misidentified as Ferrari’s by passers-by!

Basically if you get offered a first edition then take a v6 at a premium drive it for a year then sell it for the same money and but a base edition dct and have change 👌🏽

All that money talk - I’m actually pricing up a Caterham 7 170s - about half of base Emira price…… and definitely not half the car….

Sheng Yue Gui is the CEO of Geely. He would, you hope, know everything. TomE knows everything it seems. My Cluedo logic says TomE actually Sheng Yue Gui!
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: Ah, I get it now! Sorry, I should have got the reference - especially as my company, Merson Group, secured the Lotus signage contract and we are presently rebranding the Global Dealer Network! I'll post a short piece about this here soon, it's a project I am very passionate about for obvious reasons and very proud to be part of.
